    “Callum, I was after your advice on internet dating and whether I should do it or not? I have heard good things about it but I know my mates will make fun of me if I go on there. What do you recommend?”

    This is a great question Steve and firstly I’m going to tell you that I wrestled with this dilemma for probably 2 years before I finally plucked up the courage to try internet dating.

    I was nervous my mates would take the mickey. Would they think I was some kind of loser with women?!

    If I’m honest one or two did give me a bit of ribbing.

    However I do remember one party very well....it was a mates 30th birthday celebration and most of the guests were old friends who I hadn’t seen for years.

    I turned up with Luciana, a 5’6” Brazilian stunner. She had brunette hair half way down her back, a size 8/10 body and dark eyes. Her accent could only be described as ‘foxy’ and the dress that she wore that night accentuated her incredible figure.

    You know when you have a ‘hot’ girlfriend because your mates can’t keep their eyes off her and their partners spend much of the night giving her competitive and jealous looks.

    That evening was the last time my mates made any comments about internet dating. And I know for a fact that several of them are using dating websites themselves now.

    Steve, the important thing for you is to get out there and enjoy spending some time with some ladies. Life’s way too short to worry about a few mates taking the mickey!
